Josh and the whole Bernie's team are fabulous. Very accomodating and friendly. Frank Elvis love going, but he is pretty buggered after a full day socialising, playing and sniffing his buddies. Bernies is very easy to get to, tons of parking for drop off and pick up. Pricing is very, very reasonable, Bernies Daycare is at the back of the store, the front is a fully stocked pet supermarket. A great place, well worth giving Bernie's a try. Peter, Irlange and Frank.

I was recently in Bernie’s and the manager Anthony was great- very helpful and knowledgeable. I have a fussy Bichoodle who loves the lamb puffs- which he helped me with. Tom has helped me before too- and he was fab! We recently bought the sling and our little girl loves it for a bike ride!

What a beautiful and clean store! Absolutely fantastic service and advice regarding some fish and plants for my aquarium. No request was too hard and the lovely lady in the fish section was patient and picked the perfect fish for my 5yr old! We also met the gorgeous smokey for a Quick pat. We will be back to support this pristine family owned store. Wont be going back to the big corp pet stores! Thanks guys

Came into Bernie’s looking for a new addition to our tank and I must say. We were absolutely impressed with the range they had! Their prices are very reasonable. They also sell items and needs for other animals. Staff are super friendly and very helpful. Thanks guys for the friendly service and great advice.

Family owned and run, the HUGE store has everything you need for your best friend. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, the store is clean and tidy, and they stock a massive range to delight even the most discerning pet. Newly established doggy day care out the back, ample parking out the front, competitive prices inside. Highly recommended!

We recently went to puppy school with our Dalmatian Haddie and she leaned so much in the 4 weeks. Makayla covers so much during the training and personalise the training to your pups needs. I highly recommend their 4 weeks puppy school it’s a great start to get a well behaved pup.

The most personalised service I’ve had in any retail store in years! The team at Bernie’s Pet Barn in Bundall were so attentive helping me chose the right sized collar for my dog and showing me how to use the ‘my family’ dog tag engraving machine! I’d highly recommend them over the bigger chains hands down. Thank you.

Was recommended to go to Bernie's by my husbands colleague as we wanted to support a local business rather than a huge corporation. Our new rescue (Phoenix) is extremely Timid and scared of most people. I'm not sure who the man with the beard is (sorry I forgot to ask his name) but he was so incredibly helpful and welcoming & eventually got a sniff and Phoenix even accepted a treat from his hand once he warmed to him. Even some random older customer (Who Phoenix was very unsure of) bought Phoenix a treat to take home since he wouldn't go near him. Such a beautiful act of kindness and gesture. It was just a beautiful first experience and the guy with the beard didn't give up on getting Phoenix to accept him. He was extremely helpful with food choice and very informative. We will definitely be returning here in the future. Everyone there was just lovely 🐾🐻🧡 Woof woof !!!

Bernie’s is our go-to local spot for all things pet-related. It’s a family-owned store with genuinely welcoming staff who always remember the pets by name. I’m in every week for Arlo’s doggie wash, and he absolutely loves seeing his little mates in store — even if he’s still terrified of the snake 🐍 :p The team are incredibly knowledgeable and always happy to help. Whatever you need, you’ll find it here. Support local, support family-owned, and enjoy their great rewards system while you’re at it. Highly recommend!
